Joy

Authentic joy is everlasting
A thing that freely permeates
As born in hearts of lovers lusting
So nascent is when we create

It hides itself in child’s smile
In ray-ing clouds of sunrise
It so resides in every shining
Of every memorable time

A case of the blues

Insipid doom encased me now
Insipid rock of disbelief
When even rhyming
Offers not much of the usual relief

Bereft of art … I robot do
Feed cryptic yarns to  iron loom
Nocturnal runs through ocean smog
Resolve no splinters that consume

When long for wings that mighty once
Did carry me to distant shores
I crave old blood that boiled fast
When freely cordially flows

Leaf in the Wind

Spinning leaf in wind
I’m flowing in its currents
Flapping my wings
Impersonating palms

I’ve been many colors
Red, brown, and green
I’m a leaf in the wind
And the spirit within

With eyelashes of the sun
And the tears of the rain
I’m dancing in the wind
I’m a leaf, now and then

Buddha’s lullaby

Looking inside your ignited soul
Needn’t disguise any fear or sorrow
Setting aside your troubled past
Breathe and relax, breathe and relax

Clouds of air enter your lungs
Swore of electrons – runs of goosebumps
Ever so gently stay in the middle
Linger and linger, linger and linger
